Limescale protection without compromise
Protect fittings, boilers and pipes from stubborn limescale – and dissolve existing deposits. Proven sacrificial anode technology from shipbuilding. No salt. No electricity. No waste water.
- 98 °fH hardness limit
- 5 year guarantee
- Drinking water compliant
Hard water. Real consequences
The tap water in large parts of Spain is among the hardest in Europe – often over 45 °fH. The LIMex solves the problem at the root and also cleans pipes that are already clogged.
The problem
- Calcified fittings, shower heads, taps
- Shorter service life of boiler & washing machine
- Higher energy consumption due to limescale layers
- Breeding ground for legionella and biofilms
- Expensive repairs and device replacements
The LIMex solution
- Calcite is transformed into soft aragonite
- Lime loses its ability to adhere to surfaces
- Lines that are already occupied are cleaned step by step
- Appliances become limescale-free again and work more efficiently
- Legionella is removed from the breeding ground
Which LIMex is right for you?
Whether compact apartment, spacious chalet or commercial property – we have the right solution for every size. All three models work with the same proven sacrificial anode technology.

The right size is crucial
A LIMex must be matched to three factors simultaneously. If it is undersized, it will void the warranty. If it is oversized, it works inefficiently.
01
Water hardness (°fH)
The harder the water, the more intensively the appliance works – and the faster the anodes are used up. In large parts of Spain, 30-60 °fH is the norm: Mediterranean coast, Balearic Islands, Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, Murcia and parts of Andalusia.
02
Max. Flow rate (L/min)
How much water flows at peak moments (shower + dishwasher)? An appliance that is too small slows down the pressure, one that is too large reduces the ion concentration below the effective threshold.
03
Annual consumption (m³)
How much water flows through the house each year? This value determines whether the 5-year guarantee is reached safely or whether the anodes need to be replaced sooner.
An undersized appliance voids the warranty, an oversized one works inefficiently. Our calculator gives you clarity in 60 seconds.
